The SD4845P is the ideal docking station for users with a USB-C enabled Surface device who require the ability to work on multiple screens. The dock provides a plug-and-play connection for up to three 1080p monitors, eliminating the need for driver installation, dongles, or adapters. With a single USB-C cable, users can connect their laptop, charge it with 85W Power Delivery, and access their mouse, keyboard, and other USB accessories, all while benefiting from ultra-fast 10 Gbps data transfer speeds.

Certified by Microsoft under their Designed for Surface certification process, this docking station has been developed in close collaboration with Microsoft to provide professional-level connectivity and functionality for Surface devices. The USB-C connectivity is facilitated by a 1M USB-C 3.2 Gen-2 cable (included), which handles power, video, and data (10Mbps/sec) transfer.

The dedicated video ports, including 1 HDMI 2.0 and 2 Displayport ++ 1.4, eliminate the need for additional USB-C video adapters, unlike the Surface Dock 2. The triple video output capabilities support resolutions up to 1080p@60Hz, with dual displays able to output up to 4k@60Hz and a single display capable of 4k@60Hz. Users can refer to the video resolution chart in the images to determine the potential resolution for their specific Surface device.

The docking station offers a diverse array of ports, including one USB-C 3.2 Gen2 port (up to 5V/1.5A/10Gbps), two USB-A 3.2 Gen2 ports (up to 5V/0.9A/10Gbps), one USB-A 3.2 Gen2 port (up to BC1.2, 5V/1.5A/10Gbps), a combo audio port, and a Gigabit Ethernet port. The dedicated power supply provides up to 85W of charging for the Surface device and power for peripherals.

Designed for both business and home users, the SD4845P docking station is TAA Compliant and comes with a three-year warranty and lifetime technical support. The mounting stand allows the dock to be positioned vertically or horizontally, ensuring flexible placement options.

It's important to note that the Gigabit Ethernet standard supported by this dock provides a maximum data rate of 1Gbps. Actual Ethernet speeds may vary depending on factors such as Internet bandwidth, Ethernet cables, network switches, and the hardware and firmware performance of the host computer.
